Christine Corcoran Beasley
Chris has worked as a freelance writer and editor in the public and private sectors for over 25 years on projects ranging from software manuals, labour code standards, artist profiles and website content to health care guides, ad copy and magazine articles.
Throughout it all, Chris has connected with the seniors in her family and her community. She is a compassionate and excellent listener who finds joy in helping elders and families connect through personal histories.
In 1989, Chris' 84-year-old grandmother, recovering from knee surgery, filled more than a dozen cassette tapes with early childhood memories of growing up in the American south. When Chris transcribed and edited these tapes and turned them into a surprise anniversary gift book for her parents, she knew she had found a new passion and a new calling.
OneVoice Stories is the result…an exciting and rewarding way to work with seniors to help them get their stories out and preserve them for generations to come.
